1 Contest “European Identity & Cloud Conference 2019 – Contest” 1.1 The contest “European Identity & Cloud Conference 2019 – Contest” is organized by Optimal IdM, LLC 3959 Van Dyke Rd #190 Lutz, FL 33558 USA (referred to as Optimal IdM below)
1.2 The deadline for entry is 11:59 PM EST on 04/19/2019. 1.3 Participation is voluntary, free-of-charge and not linked to any other contractual obligation.
2 Participation/Procedure 2.1 Participation requires full and truthful provision of requested data. 2.2 All natural persons aged 18 or above are eligible for participation. Employees of Optimal IdM and the organizer, as well as any of their relatives, are excluded from participation in the contest. 2.3 Only one participation per person is allowed. Multiple entries will be deleted. 2.4 Optimal IdM reserves the right to exclude a participant from the contest in case of violation of these terms and conditions of participation. Prizes may be denied retrospectively, and their return may be requested in such cases.
3 Determination of winners 3.1 Winners of the contest will be determined by Optimal IdM in a randomized draw of all eligible submissions. The randomized draw will be repeated three times to determine three different winners. 3.2 The draw takes place on April 22, 2019. 3.3 The winners will be contacted by email on March 11th, 2019.
4 Prizes 4.1 In total, Optimal IdM raffles three coupons to register for the European Identity & Cloud Conference 2019 at no cost. 4.2 Each randomized drawn eligible submission can win only one of the three coupons. 4.2 Payments of the prizes in cash or alternative prizes are not possible. Entitlement to a prize is not transferable.
5 Limitation of liability 5.1 Optimal IdM shall only be liable for damages – irrespective of legal grounds – in case of deliberate intention and gross negligence of Optimal IdM, its legal representatives or vicarious agents, as well as in case of intentional or negligent breach of fundamental contractual obligations. In cases of slightly negligent breach of fundamental contractual obligations, liability is limited to compensation of damage typical for the contract, foreseeable at the time of utilization of the website. This limitation of liability shall not be applicable to intentional or negligent damages due to injury to life, body or health caused by Optimal IdM, its legal representatives or vicarious agents, as well as for liability pursuant to the Product Liability Act (ProdHaftG). 5.2 The limitation of liability referred to above shall, in particular, be applicable to damages through errors, delays or interruptions in the transmission of data or similar, in case of disruptions of technical facilities or service, incorrect contents, loss or deletion of data, viruses. 5.3 The organizer points out that the availability and functionality of the raffle cannot be guaranteed. The raffle may be terminated on account of external circumstances or constraints without any resultant claims of participants against the organizer.
6 Other 6.1 The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall be applicable. 6.2 If individual terms and conditions should be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions of participation shall be unaffected thereby. 6.3 Optimal IdM reserves the right to adapt the contents and information of this website as well as these terms and conditions of participation to any changed general legal requirements. 6.4 Optimal IdM reserves the right to terminate the raffle at any time and without notice in case of an important reason. 6.5 Legal recourse is excluded.
